mega tree 1512 channel How to set my setting in LOR

I don't  know if I right place to ask this question.  I have mega tree 1512 channel  12 string 42 pixel each .  I have all my string connect to ssc and to  1 smart string Hub .  I using Nutcracker to make some effect on ma mega tree .everything good ok .When open my LOR  sequence editor ,open my file ,ok.  Now I have to do some setting for my channel  DMX universe 1 .But i just have 512 channel on universe 1 so .So I need 2 more universe to get my 1512 channel  Did I need 2 more Hub or is there something I don't know??? Or can I set my Hub on 3 universe same time??? Or some setting in my LOR software For my Arches no problem because lower 512 channel

In lor you just number your rgb channels sequentially. So you will just number your rgb channels in lor straight through the 512 of universe one which will give you 170 pixels. Then you will set pixel 171 to universe 2 channel 1,2,3 (rgb). And then so on.

No. The universe idea is for data transmission purposes and software. So you really only have to worry about universes in the software.

You will set the hub universe to the universe your pixels start on. I would recommend starting your pixels with a fresh universe. So pixel one on universe # - channel 1,2,3

The etherdongle or other dongle connects to computer and between hub. This reads the universe data and channel data then transmits it to the hub. The hub then send the data to the smart strings.

Are you referring to nutcracker? I think he is talking about lor setting and how they translate to the hub.

If you're using your EtherDongle with pixelnet firmware...
if you're starting with channel 1, then number them 1-1512

the software sees dmx universes, so to talk to the E1.31, you'll need at least the first 3 "DMX universes" setup setup in your software
as far as the hardware, the EtherDongle does the rest for you

E1.31 allows DMX universes to be sent over the computer network connection to a E1.31 device.
the EtherDongle setup with pixelnet firmware listens on the computer network for 32 separate DMX universes and bundles them up into it's 4 pixelnet universes.
the hardware does all the protocol switching for you.

to go off of one hub, you just need to make sure all your channels for that hub fit on one block of 4096 channels. (or 1 pixelnet universe)

so, if you have a lower count of channel for your show, keeping them under 4096 would make sure that they work.

back to the software, I believe you setup the "DMX" universes in LOR for it to talk to E1.31  so, technically, you really only need to setup DMX universes until you get above your channel count of your show.

setting up 4 "DMX" universes will get you your 1512 channels for your megatree, plus give you at least 516 more channels for your other stuff.

Thank every one for all information was big help everything working perfect now.  WHAT I DID WRONG TOO  I didn't programmed my SSC good setting too  I reprogrammed all my SSC  Now I happy men   God Bless You all .Good Luck for your Christmas setup
