Conductor with latest LSP release
« on: October 31, 2012, »
Over at LSP Mike said the conductor export no longer contains zeros and is looking for someone to confirm the export is now working with the Conductor.  Can anyone help?  I don't have mine yet.

(fingers crossed)
Sam, who is happy he flashed his etherdongle with newest firmware!

That would have to be either RJ or one of the beta testers as they are the only ones that have one.

If it's successful, let know which version (build) of LSP you are testing with.  Thanks.

I let my show run through 3 times (closing down for the holiday).  I have one issue but think its more my issue of the timing in the sequence vs the song for one sequence (out of 5 sequences).  After 30 seconds or so it starts to drift off a second or so (about 2 seconds at the end of the song).  Need to get the specs of what LSP needs in its music to make it right.  Otherwise ran great, no lag, started on the schedule, and ran smooth.

So to understand your light timing to music was of by 2 seconds? If so what form of music are you using. wav, mp3 and what bit rate?

Its just the one I'm having problems with.  Its a MP3, 256 kbps

Others are 128, 128, 192, 320 and those all work fine, mp3 format.

There is a know issue with that bit rate...actually the others as well. The recommended is wav @ 44. I was having timing degradation over time with all of mine  @ mp3 128, went to wav 44 solved my issue... one of my many! :)

Hmm...I'm still on the previous version, 2.5.4650.19419.  Didn't see any notice of an update. Also ran the "Check for New Update" and didn't get anything.  Did you get it automatically or did you have to find it on the LSP website?

Mike, Update will not work yet as they are working on the ownership transfer. mmulenna has a post with the update. Just use the link here and you should be good to go.

Thanks rdebolt. The LSP website is running brutally slow at the moment, but I eventually found the thread and downloaded the update.

Hmm Ill give that a try and report back.  I'm not 100% but not sure if the conductor can play wav or not.  Looking that up......
