sometime next year, it would be neat to be able to do more animation like stuff on a large matrix.

kinda like what you would see on one of the smaller scoreboards at a baseball game (not the big one) but the smaller ones that do things like showing a baseball leave the park, and the word homerun comes up. not exactly that, but stuff like that.

Can't you use animated GIFs to accomplish this?  I don't have a matrix or smart mega tree so I haven't been following the Nutcracker threads as closely - that and I have a ton of sequencing to do.

I would probably say I will add loading movie files , besides animated gifs.

Now use any of the dozens of animation programs and then load their output.

There are a bunch of good animation apps on iPad, for instance.
