Controllers

External SSR's
SSR4
The Lynx SSR4 is a SSR with the ability to add some additional parts and make it a standalone 4 Channel DMX Controller. This is where the name comes from (SSR + 4).
It was designed be about the same cost as the standard SSR's we have been using and in fact uses most of the same parts. But the difference is it was designed from the start with a cost effective neat enclosure in mind. This means it drops into a weather resistant case. It also does not use receptacles and instead uses short extension cords like a Lynx or the commercial devices do that exit the case through rubber weather seals. This gives you better ability to keep everything dry.
The big difference other than the case is it has places on the board to add a few optional parts and make it a stand alone DMX controller. You can run your whole show if you chose to on nothing but a bunch of SSR4 setup as controllers and a DMX dongle.
