odd...  I thought in the demos that RJ performs, he just plugs the conductor in and it starts -- if the current time was within the already configured start and stop times.

Maybe you are thinking about the slave and being disconnected from the network and then picking backup up when plugged in?

Chris is right if your show is going and the power goes out and comes back on still within the scheduled time it won't run until the next schedule since it only looks at the start time right now not the full time window.  Maybe in the next release we'll get that feature.

I wouldn't count on that feature ever being implemented.  As you said, that auto-start was a slave unit being powered up during a running show.  You could perhas get around some of it by making each song it's own show but that leads to other problems with scheduling.  Rick's idea is the best one, a small UPS for the Conductor.  They are inexpensive and require no more effort than to plug the Conductor into it.  This way, if you lose power the Conductor keeps pluggng along or starts he scheduled show on time and when the power comes back, the controllers power up and start running the show at the point where the power was restored.
If at first you don't succeed,
your not cut out for sky diving

yes I schedule my shows as seperate shows so it will kick back off when the next show (say 15 minutes later). There will be some my features added to scheduling but I do not see it auto restart already started seqences as one. Maybe we can work something out but would not plan out it. My plans are to work on the issue for the people having out of sync issues and getting the slave out to beta. Then I will look at a few extras on the conductor.

That's a good idea.  I was trying to figure out how to do something similar in case of power outage (UPS was a good idea too).  I was thinking about setting up shows of 1,2,3,4 & 5 hours long that repeat the sequences.  I normally run the 5 hour show each night.  If the power goes off 2-1/2 hours into the show, I just manually run/load the 2 or 3 hour show for the rest of the night.  The 5 hour show then kicks back in automatically for the next day.  Your way is more simple and requires no monitoring.

Since I am the one that sort of started that discussion, is there anything that I can send to help with the diagnosis?  I have most of my display down so wouldn't be able to test much, but I can send you files if needed.

Thanks,
-Keith
