the wrong resistor was sent with the original coop. Did you change it out?

Yes, the one on the hub has to be swapped out. See You are not allowed to view links.

If your in a bind radioshack has a wire wound resistor that will work, think it is 100ohm 10 watt instead of 3 watt. However that thing is huge compared to the space given to it on the board. Then switch it out with the right one later.
