Tennis Ball Containers
« on: January 12, 2012, »

I have access to hundreds of tennis ball containers. Pictured on the left is with the plastic wrapping on and the right the plastic removed.
Any Ideas on how to utilize them?
I would be willing to send the person with the best idea as many (within reason) as the want if you just pay shipping.

Snowfall tubes would be a option. Use SS nodes to simulate snow falling and or stones. Maybe effects lights on a Mega tree

Smart String Controller cases.  A little big, but the price is right.

find a way to frost the inside, then use them for illuminaries on the ground, or hanging ornaments in a tree.

If I had about 2 or 3 dozen of those, I would put colored MR16 bulbs in them and hang them from the tree in the middle of my driveway.  They would work better than the urine sample containers I have been considering buying.   ;)

i wouldn't mind getting a few of those.  what are the dimensions of them?

I'd probrobably paint the inside white, then put c7's, or c9's inside one of each of the colors i was using, red, green, blue etc...   and have them individually controlled as they lined a walkway.

or stack them in the shape of a tree, with pixels inside. (stacked sorta like you'd see can stacked in a display at a supermarket.

then they would be wired together, sorta like a 4ft or 6ft tree (dependeing on nodes, or containers you had)

Cut a slit in the lid and put the end of your extension cords in them to keep them out of the weather.

Sounds like a great idea!

I would think that would cause a lot of condensation and might be worse that not covering at all. Thoughts?
Thanks
