Thanks for organizing this!!

I would be there, but this is the one day I have to coach in two back-to-back volleyball tournaments.

Thanks for organizing this.  I never thought of Cinco de Mayo blinky flashy!  I don't foresee any issues in attending.  Keep us posted with the details!

Ditto on the thanks for organizing this.  I plan on attending.  By then I should be able to demo a SS minitree using effects from Nutcracker.

I would like to try and attend also. I hope it is no where near downtown, that day is going to be pretty crazy.

Cinco De Mayo never even crossed my mind when we were looking at dates, I hope that no one will be effected and I am no where near downtown. I am located in Parker.

I'll be there along with a few other guys from the Colorado Springs Area.  You do plan on sending out another email with the address, time, and directions right :)

I'll vote for that, i would love to learn more about the workings of Nutcracker. If not part of the regular meeting maybe we could have a breakout session for this?

That sounds great. I am out of town next week and will get all of the details worked out upon my return.

Just another bump as the time is drawing near. I have heard from about 15 people so far, with the farthest being in Nebraska. We would love to have anyone and hope to have several things to offer. So far we will have a sequencing session with Vixen, a discussion on setting up a DMX and / or Pixelnet universe, a presentation on the Nutcraker software, a time for showing off if you want to bring an item to setup, and a trade show to get rid of all those lights and stuff you aren't using. We plan on starting about 0930 in Parker, CO.

PM or email for more details,

Brian

Greetings everyone. I hope everyone is still planning on coming to the CO Mini this Saturday. Here is a suggested schedule:

900 am - meet and greet
1000 am - Creating a sequence with Vixen by Tim Thompson
1130 am - lunch (order pizza?)
1200 pm - DMX & Pixelnet Universes with Gary
130 pm - Nutcracker with Sean Meighan
300 pm - show off (bring anything you want show off or demo for others)
400 pm - trade show (bring your unwanted items to sell or trade)

I will have a couple of laptops for us to use, at least one projector, some LOR controllers with usb dongle, some Lynx controllers with usb dongle, some smart strings with controllers, and lots of extension cords. If someone has an LCD projector, please bring it.

I have LOR2 software, downloaded Vixen 2.1 and 3.0 beta (I will try to install before Saturday), and XLights.

I will have some coffee and soda available, if you need something special better bring it along with something to snack on. My wife will be making some Christmas Holly. I thought we could order pizza for lunch to make it easy.

Things to bring include: a laptop if you want to follow along and build a sequence, a fold up chair as I only have seating for about 14 without using the floor, stuff to barter or sell, your top 2 decorating tips to share with the group.

Just some thoughts, nothing too concrete that way we can go where the day leads us.
Brian
