In my set up in Light Show Pro:
1. 1st Hub is 1 - 4096 (Channels in LSP set for 1 - 4096, and Hub jumper set to 1 & 1, Smart strings programmed for 1 to 4096)
2. 2nd Hub is 4097 - 8192 (Channels in LSP set for 4097 - 8192, and Hub jumpers set to 2&2, Smart strings programmed to 1 to 4096)
3. 3rd Hub is 8193 - 12288 (Channels in LSP set for 8193 - 12288, and Hub jumpers set to 3&3, Smart Strings programmed to 1 to 4096)
3. 3rd Hub is 12289 - 16384 (Channels in LSP set for 12289 - 16384, and Hub jumpers set to 4&4, Smart Strings programmed to 1 to 4096)
When you run the SS setup utility what do you program the starting address for your 2nd Hubs 1st SSC etc. Because if I understand the SS setup utility you are programming on a node count basis not a Pixle count basis.
You are correct, you program them on a Node basis, 1 node = 3 channels.
Also if you are using LSP and you set the string up in reverse in LSP (usually it's assumes the 1st channel on the smart string is on the left, or it's at the bottom of a string, you tell LSP which direction the string is in), so when you set up the string with the utility, you DON'T need to reverse the orientation of the string with the set up utility.
Not sure how other sequence S/W sets up the orientation of the string though, I only use LSP.
On my first Hub, I've programmed my Smart String LED Flexstrips from address 1 to 4096
e.g My 1st String is 120 nodes, which is 120 x 3 channels, so start address is 1 and end address is 360
My second string might be say 60 nodes, so the 2nd string will be 60 x 3 = 180 channels, so the start address is 361 and end address is 440
Keep programming the strings until you reach 4096
On my second hub, it's exactly the same:
On my second Hub, I've programmed my Smart Sring LED Flexstrips from address 1 to 4096
e.g My 1st String might have say 35 nodes, which is 35 x 3 = 105, so the start address of my 1st string on the 2nd Hub is 1 and end address is 105
My 2nd string might be 120 nodes, which is 120 x 3 = 360, so the start address is 106 and end address is 465
Keep programming the strings until you reach 4096.
In Light Show Pro, my channels start at 1 and just keep going up
e.g. Hub 1 is 1-4096
Hub 2 is 4097-8192
etc etc until you reach 16384
