Is it possible to change username?

While attending the Academy, I realized I couldnt recognize people by their username since most dont use real names.  Is there a way to change to my name without losing my history or starting a new profile?

I only knew a few there as well. Sort of made it fun figuring out who they are. I did think about adding my user name to my tag, but forgot to do it.

I did write my username on my tag. Two people noticed and said Ah Ha!

The culture of Lone Star Holidays is to build in-person relationships.  To that end we use our real names on the forums, which is why we only use real names on the nametags.  That's not going to change BUT we can certainly design our tags for next year to have some extra space at the bottom for people Sharpie in their handle/screen name upon arrival.  It's going in the 2013 vault now!

If you are going to make room for people to write them, why don't you just print them at the bottom.

I was thinking that it might be a fun project to pull names and avatars from each site to create a name tag -- but the question becomes -- how would I know how to correlate the names from each?

Maybe the Academy registration should be extended to ask for any user names used in other forums?  (the LSH is already known)

That's how I would do it.  Perhaps add an optional field called nickname / handle for people that want to use it and have it print on the bottom of the tag.

You could ask the COOP managers to help.  We need real names when mailing stuff to people.

I could write my handle on my nametag but...my question is about if I can change my nickname on this site to my real name.  Like LSH, No need here for me to be anonymous and would solve nametag problem.  I looked at my profile but did not see how to change name.

I think only the admin can do that. Its not something a user or mod can change.

Ryan, I would suggest your 2013 tags have both first and last name and then leave room for the forum handles where people can write in. in all the conferences i attend for work, they always have first and last names. It makes it easier to say "Hi Ryan" rather than "Hi Johnson".
