I used to build remote controlled gliders when I was younger. We used to use this stuff called Monokote to wrap the fuselage and wings. It is kind of like large rolls of shrink wrap. You can heat it up with a Teflon iron made for the hobby, or a heat gun. It will tighten up around the frame for a tight wrinkle free skin. It used to come in a matte white finish if I remember correctly. It is easy to work with and it is easy to repair if needed.
